It is funny to think about that, but I suppose that then, as now, many people were off trend! Especially people further from the centres of fashion and less in touch with current designs.Tanithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09915557658875958630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-753730293874291295.post-25861371015137831322014-06-02T12:40:16.026+10:002014-06-02T12:40:16.026+10:00This is fantastic, thank you for digging all of th...This is fantastic, thank you for digging all of this up. I know it shouldn't, but it always takes me a bit by surprise when I read or hear about some vintage item that we don't give much thought to now and realize that, just like us, there were distinct trends and fashions. To me it all seems so timeless, so it's funny to realize that some of my stuff might look wildly off trend to their eyes if I was transported back to the wrong year or something.Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06827840216337511678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-753730293874291295.post-30803866683836189822014-06-02T12:03:01.217+10:002014-06-02T12:03:01.217+10:00I will, I hope, be getting to some of those decade...I will, I hope, be getting to some of those decades later this year, but for now I'm glad you can still enjoy the cute 50s styles :)Tanithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09915557658875958630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-753730293874291295.post-11587871367594761512014-06-01T21:38:40.309+10:002014-06-01T21:38:40.309+10:00great post I generally prefer 1920s, 30s, and 40s ...great post I generally prefer 1920s, 30s, and 40s hats but these cute little 50s numbers are adorable

retro rovertubby3pughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01315017048832512111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-753730293874291295.post-46994358709148957912014-05-30T14:33:45.415+10:002014-05-30T14:33:45.415+10:00I'm glad you enjoyed them. The green and white stripes is also wonderful but you'd have to have the right colouring to pull it off, I'd think.
